Totally off topic, Sleeper, but I had a fun idea for a future discussion (not a prompt). Or hell, we can discuss it here, lol.

What would the future have been like for the different charatcers on the show?

I'm not specifically thinking of Luke and Reid here. For instance, in my future-world, Casey and Maddie get back together. Maybe Luke runs for political office, like some of the upcoming BB's are exploring. And please God, let the old Faith come back (the weight-troubled, thoughtful Faith) and drop the annoying, "hottie" Faith...Richard becomes a central character, too, and finds love.

For me, Holden and Lily have to get back together. I just want Luke and his siblings to have the family together and stay together. I envision them getting engaged a few months after the train/transplant thing and Luke's beyond thrilled so this makes Reid like them too (which he didn't really before

Someone wrote a fic...(was it Slayerkitty?) where there is a rumor going around that Reid is a player and is screwing guys all over town, when in reality all he wants is Luke. And Luke decides he's going to sleep with Reid just to sleep with him, and there's miscommunication and misunderstanding, but then of course, they end up falling for each other, and ahhhhhh....

(or something like that)

Anyone know what I'm thinking of? I'm lousy at keeping track of who writes what. Lol.

This is really good for your first try! Poor Reid--being in love with Luke isn't easy but it's worth it in the end. Lovely!

Squinty eyes meet open dark pools. Clenched fists fall hopelessly at sides. Open hands try not to reach out.

He has to stand firm now. There can be no mistake about the message he got out.

Frustrated rage is blurted out in his face. He understands. But is not about to do something to make this better.

"It is not about him, Noah. It is about you. It is about me. You're the one I'm leaving you for. I am the one I'm leaving you for."

A back is turned at him. A towel wipes a counter. Coffeecups collide.
Luke stands up and leaves the scene.
