There are so many things I love about this chapter that I'm sure I can't name them all, but I'll give some highlights:
1. Reid is still obtuse....he doesn't have a clue and that's the way I love him!; 2.) Luke not putting up with him and telling to do better (cheer!); 3.) Katie's input is priceless; and 4.) Simon is back. So glad he got her away from Chris.

Now running off to read what Reid decided to do.

Thank you for the lovely comment. I agree, Reid needs to remain obtuse. I cannot picture a socially competent Reid, that's Luke's job. And yes, I love Katie/Simon and I love Katie's ever loving need to help Reid, and he continues to go back to her so he likes it too.

It always amuses me when he makes Reid squirm because no one else does, and it's a great sign of how comfortable with him Luke is.

Is that a subtle hint? I may have to do it, eventually. It would make for some really interesting arguments, either way w/r/t Luke's health, whether Lily or Reid has "control" over decisions if Luke can't make them, or trying to persuade Luke to their way of thinking.

Katie and Simon is a way better match than Chris and her!!! Yeah for Luke wanting more than the bare minimum! Reid has charm and especially with Luke. Now he just needs to break it out!!

I tend to agree when it comes to Katie. And he does have charm, when he wants to. He doesn't always think to turn it on though.

This is such a great beginning. I adore Katie/Simon here, btw. But Reid screwing up the proposal and Luke not accepting it until it's better is all kinds of awesome. You write them so well.

I think that's exactly the kind of awesome Luke has inside of him and that I trust of him when he's with Reid. Thank you for all the lovely compliments.
