X] Fic. Holden and Reid are stuck in an elevator. FOR HOURS. Author’s choice on whether they bond over their love for Luke [perhaps exchanging funny stories about him] or if Reid valiantly attempts [probably without success] to not call Holden a moron while Holden blithely recollects how often he and Lily divorced or had affairs. [“I couldn’t attend Luke’s school pageant when he played an aardvark because Lily was having a hard time being around me because I was having an affair with her identical twin at the time.”]

X] Fic. Lily needs an emergency babysitter for Ethan and Luke has a meeting til late. To the surprise of EVERYONE, a sick and cranky Ethan wants Reid to take care of him. [“Tell me a story,” demanded Ethan crossly while he splayed across Reid’s lap. “Wouldn’t you rather have a shot of Nyquil?” asked Reid].

X] Fic. Reid is reluctantly drawn into one of Henry’s shenanigans. Maybe Henry has returned to being a private detective and is undercover as a woman and drafts Reid into portraying his husband because he needs Reid’s medical knowledge. Bonus points if they accidentally run across Luke who smirklingly plays along [“I attended their very romantic wedding. If I recall correctly, Reid wrote his own vows. In iambic pentameter.”]

X] Fic. Luke has talked Reid into having a small dinner party with his friends [possibly Will, Gwen, Casey & Maddie are all in town?]. The story is told from the POV of a third party who is trying to reconcile the rumor about Reid being a jerk with just how HAPPY Luke is with the guy. Bonus points if Reid is predisposed to liking Will because of how great he was with Luke when he was coming out.

x] Fic. Katie and Reid have their first serious fight. Maybe he discovers she falsified medical records or she writes a sequel to Oakdale Confidential and Reid’s upset that Luke feels betrayed because she wrote about him or his family.

X] Fic. Winston Mayer escapes from prison and kidnaps Reid in order to seek revenge against Luke for turning his son against him. Much to Winston’s consternation, Reid turns out to be the rudest, snarkiest kidnap victim ever.
