Is anyone else having a problem editing fics in their journals?

When I pull up journal entries, all of my " carriage returns" are gone...all the text just runs together.  I've tried adjusting it in a fic.  It looks like it corrects it, but then the next time I pull it up to edit it, all of the returns are gone again.

Is anyone else having issues?

It's frustrating.

I think this is the powers that be telling me to get off the computer and clean my house...lol...

My understanding is they've modified the posting format (but I haven't tried to post or edit anything myself), but I'm not sure what all they did to it. It's apparently causing havoc.

It's sucks...I hate when things that aren't broken are "fixed." Grrr...

I posted something last night, and it didn't affect me, but I use html when I post. I think all the changes were made to the rich text option.

What format do you post in? Rich text or HTML?

I post in HTML and haven't had any problems at all editing posts.

I understand HTML, but it's too jumbled to look at when I'm editing a fic.

If you check out the Facebook LJ page, it appears that this is a problem for everyone. As was mentioned above, it would seem that it's the new format that's causing the problem, but posting in HTML seems to work just fine.

I'm praying on my old, achy knees that you're soon able to get LJ working for you again...it's been entirely too long since you've updated.

Shut up...2 days is TOO LONG for me.
