ESS in Body of Proof: Screencaps
Well, nobody knows if Body of Proof is going to survive long enough on ABC for us to actually see the ep ESS is in (1x08), but guess what? They started airing it in Italy and Russia ages ago, meaning that the dubbed version of his ep has been out there for almost a month!
So I took it upon myself (such a hardship! :D) to watch it in Italian. For those who don't know the show: It's a medical procedural centered around Megan (I shall call her female!Reid), a neurosurgeon turned medical examiner after she had an accident that left her unable to operate.
The ep opens with ESS (Bill) at his sister Nikki's deathbed. Apparently, Nikki had some sort of terminal illness and there was no saving her (says the episode description anyway). Later on, ESS insists that it was actually suicide.
The family wants to say goodbye to her in peace. But wait! Female!Reid crashes Nikki's funeral. ESS rushes in.
He is not amused.
I wonder if crashing a funeral tops blackmailing someone and dragging them to Oakhell?
I think it does.
Tie!grab. ESS's family is rich, in case you couldn't tell by the wardrobe department spending more on a guest star than ATWT did in his whole time there.
Female!Reid found strangulation marks on Nikki's neck, and I guess she came back to check out the family's house while she was at it. Everyone is a little calmer in this scene. ESS and his mom are a united front.
While female!Reid's co-worker that we're supposed to ship her with is off talking to Nikki's sister who hasn't been living there in 5 years, ESS is grieving and supports his mom.
There was some swallowing to not let tears fall going on here.

Next day. ESS sees police cars approaching. He is understandably not happy about it.
You've been served. Nikki's room has been declared a crime scene, and they have a search warrant.
Liking this less and less.
(Just wanted to include a hand shot.)
ESS's mom is acting all chummy with female!Reid and another investigator. He's not liking this either.
(He's sitting down, that's reason enough to post a cap, right?)
I don't speak Italian, so the only thing I got out of this scene...
...was that female!Reid is accusing ESS's mom of not giving terminally ill Nikki her real pills, but giving her placebos instead.
ESS is on his moms side, gets all rage-y and throws female!Reid and the investigator out.
Alright, we'll GTFO...
Several scenes later. The case has been solved (won't spoil you), Nikki finally has her funeral, and ESS talks to his mom.
Kinda, sorta smile at female!Reid.
There we go. (Why do they never let him smile for real in anything he does anyway?)
Bye, ESS!
