Okay, as much as Luke needs to sober up, if I were him I'd be pissed, humiliated and wouldn't want to see Reid ever again after this ordeal.
It would so not go down well w/me to have my lover turned into prison guard, and would probably turn me off completely from him.

So hey, I can't wait to see HOW you'll pull it off.
I have enough trust in you to know that you will, but hey,- this is me challenging you to make it believable. *smirks slightly*

Otherwise I see Luke being (understandably) nasty to prison guard-turned-Reid and Reid who already admitted to himself that he's in love getting hurt.

It will. Chapter 46 turns things around a little bit, and chapter 48-49-50 a MAJOR in how they affect the boys' relationship. Reid will not get hurt, I swear. :D

Ha ha. So I'll keep harassing you longer with my opinions.

I mean the balance here is really precarious because as much as I'd hate Reid hurt, as much I'm hating the situation in which an already more experience and accomplished individual as Reid is gets such a leverage over a younger and very vulnerable (if wonderfully pissy) Luke. I mean I know Reid would not overuse the power that he has, but he has to be strict and the whole scenario is somewhere dangerously close to way last frontiers of my comfort zone I think.

Please turn that around nicely.
Oh yes, and the chappies are definately too short :P

I get what you're saying. Reid's in a position of power now, and he needs to be careful that he doesn't cross a line with that power, especially given Luke's mental state.

And in the reverse, Luke needs to express his animosity, but without further damaging their relationship and hurting Reid in the process.

I think I'm handling it okay (I'm writing chapter 50 right now), but I hope it meets you expectations. :D

LOL, I'm trying to write them longer.
