Title: Noah's Big Damn Movie
Rating: Teen
Summary: Starting at 5:55 in this video, we see a scene from Noah's student film. It's obvious from this scene that Luke knows that this is, to some degree, Noah's reflection on their relationship. Note which of them Noah casts as a girl, by the way.

I thought your suggestion for additional scene was good! I didn't take it, though, 'cause I didn't care enough about this one. I figured if I was going to labor, I should get back to 5 Times or work on Coma!Faith or even that new idea from your journal! :)

I'm glad you like it anyway!

And that line -- who among us does not feel that way? :P

Ouch! :( Loved this, but ouch.

I wish the show hadn't completely swept the real issues in the Mason SL under the rug by making Noah blind.

Glad you liked it! It's a bit ouch -- for everyone, I guess. Personally, though, I think it's pretty accurate. I think Noah will always probably think Luke's in the wrong in their relationship -- in how it ended and everything else. I'm not sure he's even self-aware enough to know it consciously, and thus I think it would spill out in his movies.

OMG YES! I was just thinking about this the other day, how I had concentrated on Noah being a douche by pushing Luke away and all, but how the real issue was how disturbing his behavior had been during the whole thing with Mason. Well, I mean the real issue for THAT month.

Just a comment on the Noah's interpretation of Luke stuff: we find out that Mason actually edited the script so really the negative stuff that reminds us of Luke is Mason's input. Bastard. xD

Anyway!
Muaahahaha *evil laugh*
This was wonderful ;D

I don't buy that. Mason may have edited the script, but it was Noah's movie. I think that Noah is not self-aware enough to even realize what kind of commentary he was making. I think that Luke, who blames Noah for nothing, basically, was blaming Mason for something that was, in fact, Noah's doing. And that's kind of what this fic is about -- Luke coming to that realization.

Glad you liked it!

Aw, you're sweet! Thanks for the compliment! :) I like to believe that in the right relationship Noah would blossom, but Luke is not that person, imo.

aw, i loved this. i love how even with all of his awkwardness, Reid knows exactly how to comfort Luke. there's just so much love and trust in their relationship.

Reid had no idea what made Jana think Luke was the person she answered to in this situation, but given that Reid didn’t actually fire her for overstepping, he supposed he’d proven her assumption right.

hee! <3

Like with all your fics I love this. Art imitates life or so they say so Noah's 'art' would imatate his prespective of what Luke and him went through together. Which, if Noah never grows up, would probably be a bit bias towards himself. Oh Noah.

But I'm a sucker for some h/c Lure. To find out someone whom you've invested so much of your life to, feels that much resentment towards you and the part you played in your relationship together, yea that'd hurt. I do kinda wish for a scene where Luke wearily confronts Noah about it though. Just so Noah would finally open his eyes and see his relationship with Luke from a less bias prespective.

Also I hated Luke's hair in that video. IDKY it just bothered me. lol

One of my beta readers also wanted a scene with a Noah confrontation, but I didn't feel invested enough in this ficlet to go there. :) I figured if I was going to spend a lot more time on something it should either be the next long fic that I'm working on, or finishing up 5 Times. :) So, yeah, this was just a ficlet, nothing more.

Glad you liked it!! :) And, honestly, even if Noah grew up, I think he'd always lack self-awareness, and thus his crud would come spilling out in his "art".

And word on Luke's hair.
