Okay first, a lovely way to start my morning. Thank you as always.

And, Reid, you may be brilliant, but in no way is this thing with Luke casual sex. Can't wait for him to realize that. I know it will be good.

And Luke, just want to hug him as always. I forgot how bad the Brian thing was. It's creepy and wrong, and he's so lost already that he needs someone. So, Luke, would of course turn to Noah and Noah...I can understand in a way his response, but Reid has figured it out, so I'm glad there's that.

Anyway I'm rambling (sorry) love the cliff hanger of this one can't wait to see where this goes next. Thank you.

Reid = DENIAL.

Poor Luke. Yeah, re-watching the Brian stuff, I realized that "Wow, this is just so messed up for Luke"....and no one, not Noah or his family was there for him when he needed them. It's nice to write Reid in and have him be someone Luke can turn to.

People underestimate the value of a good ramble. :D

I just love this !

Reid should understand that Luke is in a relationship though and that he's not the kind to cheat, I just rewatched this story line a few days ago and I couldn't believe how moronic Noah was !
I think the worst was New Year's Eve when he couldn't see that Luke was all over Brian not the other way around...

Well, at this point, Luke and Noah are broken up (at least in my story!), so Luke is single. Having said that, Reid has realized how much Luke still cares about Noah from watching them interact, and since Reid doesn't do relationships and doesn't like when things get messy, he'll leave Luke alone if he and Noah were to reunite. He wouldn't like it, but he would.

Noah is so clueless in this story line. I mean really.

So, I had a dream last night. I never dream about LuRe (drat), but I did dreamm last night (actually, this morning). I was working as a temporary receptionist at a doc's office. And so this cute doctor (guess who) sits down for a break, right by my desk. He puts his feet up on my desk, sipping his coffee. I had cut my finger on the tape dispenser and was putting a bandaid on it. He was watching me and telling me I was doing it wrong. I ask him, "How was your weekend?" He rolls his eyes, and says, "We had homecoming..." AND THEN MY ALARM WENT OFF. Bloody hell.

Do you know, it took 12 chapters for me to work in a "Mr. Snyder"...and it's the only one in the fic so far (I've written up to chapter 22).

I had a Luke dream once, but nothing, er, GOOD happened. OMG, that sounds hysterical. I need to have a LuRe dream. *sigh*

In your fic, it really wouldn't come up much because they didn't start out calling each other "Mr." and "Dr."

They didn't start out calling each other anything...lol...

I think the show messed up (in yet another way) by never having one of them say I love you, using the other's surname in a flirty/sexy way.

Bah.

LOL, that's very true. There will be a short period during the fic where they will call each other that. :D

LMAO - no, they sure didn't.

YES. The show screwed up so many things (there's a list, lol), but I think the biggest one is not letting them have a perfect "I love you". They had a great potential moment when Reid said it out by the car - because until Reid was dying, Luke hadn't actually said the words. It would have been such a great moment for Luke to say it back there, before the kiss.

Even in his drunken state Luke could tell Brian was hitting on him and even if they are on a break at the moment Noah should at least give Luke the benefit of the doubt. Reid obviously notices something is off with Brian/Luke and he seems to be the only one that cares at the moment what it is doing to Luke. Even with his mind on sex Reid still wants to ensure Luke is okay and I hope he starts helping with the drinking problem Luke is facing again.

Luke knows exactly what Brian is doing, even if Noah doesn't believe him. He didn't believe him on the show either, lol.

Reid has eyes and uses them, and has figured it out. He doesn't know what or if anything he'll do about it, but he knows something is not right with Brian.

Reid at this point has only known Luke for about a week, so he doesn't know that Luke has a 'real' drinking problem or about Luke's kidney, but once he does....
