A Moment
Reid stepped out of the hotel bathroom, picking up the menu and reviewing the options. He picked up the phone, about to place his order when a knock interrupted him.
“Hello. You Dr. Reid Oliver?”
Reid stared at the blond man.
“What? You thought I was room service?” the blond asked. “Sorry to disappoint you.”
“I’m not disappointed,” Reid said.
“Good. You gonna let me in?”
Reid moved aside to invite the man in.
“Your boyfriend asked me to keep you company.”
“Is that right?”
“Yup. He knew you’d be lonely tonight so he asked me to help you be . . . not lonely.”
“I have a great boyfriend,” Reid said, crossing his arms and looking the blond up and down.
“That you do.”
Reid walked slowly to the blond until he was right in front of him. “So, when are you going to start helping me with my loneliness?” He moved his hands down the blond’s chest and fiddled with his belt.
“Whoa, hold on there, doc,” the blond said, pushing Reid’s hands away and stepping back. “He said to keep you entertained, you know, like by playing chess or something.”
“I don’t want to play chess or something,” Reid said, moving towards the blond again. “I wanna play with you.”
“But-but your boyfriend said-”
Reid held on to the man’s waist. “How about we don’t play chess and say we did?”
“And what are we really gonna do?” Big, brown eyes stared at Reid.
“This.” Reid pushed his lips onto the blond in a deep kiss.
“You’re gonna cheat on your boyfriend?”
“I’m no cheater but I’m willing to make an exception in your case,” Reid said.
Luke smiled and wrapped his arms around Reid’s shoulders, pulling him as close as possible. “How do you want me?” Luke asked breathlessly as Reid kissed his neck.
“Here, just here,” Reid whispered as he nuzzled Luke’s neck.
They lay on the bed where their slow movements eventually led to intense friction and loud moaning and panting. This led to Luke kneeling and holding onto the headboard with Reid behind him. Then Reid pushed Luke onto his back and reentered him as they moved face to face.
After coming deep inside Luke, Reid pulled out and fell onto his back, breathing loudly. “My boyfriend is amazing.”
Luke leaned over Reid. “He’s sorry too, for everything.”
“I know. And I love how he knows how to make it up to me."
Luke sat up.
“Wait, wait, wait, where are you going?”
“Our quick and dirty session is over, doc. You gotta talk to your boyfriend if you want me longer.”
“Luke.”
Luke scratched the back of his ear. “Are you okay that I-that I did this?”
“You’re here, aren’t you?”
Luke nodded.
“But I'm a bit surprised. You said you couldn’t make it,” Reid said quietly.
“I shouldn’t have said that.”
Reid reached up and cupped Luke’s chin. “So you’ll stay and keep me company?”
“For the duration of your trip?”
Reid smiled as he pulled Luke down next to him. “I was thinking a lot longer than that. I don't like being alone, not anymore.”
"Okay." Luke smiled as he lay beside Reid. “Who thought we’d be here, huh?”
“In Indianapolis?”
Luke laughed. “Still together, I mean. When you first arrived in Oakdale, you said you were gonna perform the surgery and then never see me again, remember?”
Reid wrinkled his brows. “I said that?”
“You sure did, Dr. Oliver, but I’m glad you changed your mind.”
Reid kissed Luke softly. “I’m glad you changed my mind too.”

I loved Luke making the room service joke.
Luke is good at apologizing.
