I think that's a good idea, but I don't think you can do this on LJ communities...? I guess I could pin this topic, but then I'd want to make sure people don't accidentally miss the new(er) entries underneath. Don't wanna take away the attention from the writers, you know? I'll ponder this a bit.
OMG yay! So glad you're watching. And Zoey is just the best! I totally wouldn't mind a Nurse Jackie/ATWT crossover; Zoey and Jackie could put Reid in his place. :P

Being with Reid has done wonders for Luke's self-esteem. Unfortunately, now that Luke realizes how much he's worth and is starting to really figure out what he wants out of life, he can't settle for married-to-his-work Reid anymore.
(Yes, I realize no one's gonna write this, but I'd like this to exist. Gimme all the relationship problems that don't involve any third parties.)
"So that's it?" Reid's face was like stone, but Luke had known him long enough to see the widening cracks that were beginning to show through.
"It's the way it has to be," Luke said.
"I could-"
"You can't." His 'can't' came out firm, but Luke did his best to keep the bitterness out of his tone. If Reid could, he would have figured out how to do it sometime in the past four years. "Memorial will always be your first priority, Reid."
"But..." Reid's voice sounded like a sled scrapping across gravel, and is eyes glistened with unshed tears. Reid looked up and blinked to keep them at bay. "But I love you."
Luke had to look away to keep himself from caving. "I...I know. This isn't about lack of love - I still love you - but I can't go on like this."
"You brought me here." Reid's words were tinged in anger, and Luke appreciated it because he could deal with Reid's anger

*bleeds* So angsty and sad, but I love it! This is a really good portrayal of how the right decision can be the hardest one to make and act on, and that love isn't always enough.
The neurology department always has the best, high-quality gloves - which of course makes everyone else at Memorial jealous. Turns out it's not Reid's doing.
FillLuke and Reid had another meeting with the board and the doctors of memorial. It was an important one because today they where evaluating the last year and putting their targets on for next year. It was going well. Since Reid was in charge of the hospital and the neurology wing was well on track of becoming the best known in the country the hospital was making some money. Not a lot but in these times any profit was good. So off course the meeting went on without any major concerns

Prompt: Reid loses a bet. He has to wear flowery scrubs (think Zoey on Nurse Jackie) for a day/week/month. It does...things to his reputation.
