~Fun Fic Friday~
TGIF! It's the day before the weekend, and what better way to close out a long week than with a fun dose of ficlets and drabbles of Luke, Reid, or Luke & Reid? Or how about some amazing icons or graphics of the guys? (Don't be fooled by the name - Fun (Graph)Fic Friday just didn't have the same ring to it.) Here's your chance to

“Where’d you go this morning? I saw you rush out before I spoke. Another crazy family emergency?” Reid asked as he sat on the bed next to Luke.
“You saw me? In the midst of hundreds of your biggest fans?” Luke asked quietly.
Reid kissed Luke’s cheek as he pulled him closer. “What are you talking about?”
“All these people, Reid. They love you. They think you’re the best thing to happen to medicine.”
Reid chuckled. “All right, I wouldn’t go that far.”
“You’ve just done so much and-and I wonder what, um, what-”
“-I’m doing with you?” Reid interrupted, touching Luke’s cheek with his knuckles.
Luke shrugged.
“Why do you do that, huh? You’re not less than me, Snyder.”
Luke pulled out of Reid’s grasp. “How can you say that? Didn’t you hear everything that was said about you?”
“Not really. I mean, I did it all so I usually tune out when they start the proceedings. Not that it’s not fun to hear but I was thinking about something else-someone else,” Reid said as he raised his eyebrows and grinned.
“Reid.”
“What? I’m a doctor, Luke. I have to do amazing things otherwise I’m no good. That’s all.”
“Yes, but you’ve done so much and maybe, maybe you should be somewhere you can do even bigger and better things. I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to get another job elsewhere. They came to entice you, after all.”
“Too bad for them that I can’t be enticed. You know why?”
“Why?
“Because I have everything I want and they can’t offer me what I already have.”
“They still want you.”
“But I only want you.”
Luke looked down at his hands. “Yeah?”
Reid lifted Luke’s chin to look into Luke’s eyes. “Yeah.” He pushed Luke gently back onto the bed and climbed on top of him.
“I can’t ever compare with you, you know. Luke Snyder, former kidnap victim, completed one year at Oakdale University before being expelled, was unemployed until he inherited family money, runs a small foundation in Illinois, and bought his seat on the hospital board. Impressive,” Luke said sarcastically.
Reid leaned down and kissed Luke. “It’s more like Luke Snyder, successfully endured various kidnappings, wrote scripts for a mobile series during his first year at Oakdale University, completed two years of sobriety, funded the soon-to-be best neurological center in the county and generously donates his time and money for many, many important causes.”
Luke smiled. “So you’re really okay with me not being as accomplished as you?”
“No one’s as accomplished as me,” Reid said with a wink.
Luke playfully tugged the hair at the nape of Reid’s neck.
“That doesn’t make you any less important than me, you got that?”
Luke nodded. “I love you.”
Reid smiled. “See? That’s why I don’t need anything from them.”
“Not even some lovin' from the spiky-haired guy who greeted you five times at dinner last night and was sitting in the front row today?”
“You noticed him? Yeah, he’s a nurse practitioner and attends practically every conference in the hopes of landing himself a doctor. Hey, maybe you can help him out there.”
Luke pulled harder.
“He actually invited me to dinner before I came up here,” Reid said.
“And?”
“Free meal-what do you think?”
“Reid.”
“I’m kidding. I told him I was having dinner with my boyfriend.”
“So you won’t ever indulge him, huh? Make his fantasies come true?”
“Nope.”
“What about all those female PAs who were drooling over you?”
“No cock, no way.” Reid kissed Luke intensely. “I only want you, Luke.”
Luke nodded. “Okay.”
“So, ready to go for our thirty-second consecutive day of incredibly, hot sex?”
“Yup. How long do you think we can keep it going?”
“As long as you don’t get kidnapped anytime soon, we can probably make it through the end of the year.”
“Two more months,” Luke said. "Wow."
“And that will be one hell of an accomplishment,” Reid said, grinning. “Mine and yours.”
Luke pulled Reid down for a kiss.

I can relate to Luke's self esteem. Love it that Reid can make him see he is worth it. And i am sure they will able to finish their mutual accomplishment...
That being said... i am still nervously waiting if Luke will stay or not... hope to get an answer soon :)

32 days is nothing. They'll keep it going for much longer, I presume. Hee.

Even more though, I love that this:
It was [...] exactly one month after Reid and Luke consummated their relationship
is such a monumental day for them that probably even Reid won't forget the date, heh. And that Reid realizes and Luke slowly seems to actually believe that academic and work-related accomplishments aren't everything in life. D'aww.

They're both certainly gonna enjoy achieving a lot more together than at work. Thanks for reading! :)

...this made tears come to my eyes, oh Luke, he still doesn't know how wonderful he is, but I'm so happy that Reid tells him again and again.
Thank you so very much sweetie:-))
