~Fun Fic Friday~
TGIF! It's the day before the weekend, and what better way to close out a long week than with a fun dose of ficlets and drabbles of Luke, Reid, or Luke & Reid? Or how about some amazing icons or graphics of the guys? (Don't be fooled by the name - Fun (Graph)Fic Friday just didn't have the same ring to it.) Here's your chance to

Luke came into the kitchen with a frown. “Reid, are you ever going to go Christmas shopping?”
“What makes you think I haven’t?” Reid replied with a mouthful of sandwich.
“Of all the gifts under the tree there isn’t one gift to me from you.”
“You are actually under the tree and taking inventory? How old are you?”
Luke crossed his arms in a huff. “I gave you my list weeks ago. You have had plenty of time to fill it.”
“Why would I go out and fulfill your itemized list? What’s the fun of that?” A piece of lettuce fell out of his sandwich landing on his chest. “Damnit, I got mustard on my shirt.”
“It’s what I want and because you love me and want to make me happy you buy what is on the list.”
“So if I take the time to come up with something on my own that I think you would like and get that, you won’t be happy because it isn’t the complete boxed set of Glee?” Reid got up and started clearing the table of his dirty dishes.
“I really want that.”
Reid put the dishes in the sink and turned to face Luke. “Fine. I’ll go out and buy everything on your list. Just don’t expect to be surprised on Christmas morning. In fact why don’t you come with me so you can make sure I don’t make a mistake and pick up the chestnut boots instead of the taupe.”
“Reid…”
“What?”
“Did you really pick something out for me?”
“I guess you’ll never know now will you.” Reid walked past Luke into the living room.
“I hurt your feelings. I’m sorry,” Luke said following Reid through the house.
Reid stopped and turned suddenly and Luke practically crashed into him. Reid gave Luke a slight slap on the cheek and a peck on the lips. “You didn’t hurt my feelings. I just think this whole holiday gift giving is pointless if you tell everyone exactly what you want.”
Luke sighed and smiled. “But how else are you supposed to let your family know what you like so you aren’t disappointed?”
“Your family should know you well enough to know what you like.”
“But if they make a mistake and I don’t like it then I have to pretend to like it so I don’t hurt their feelings.”
“No you don’t. You tell them the truth and they will know better next time.”
Luke crossed his arms across his chest and continued his argument. “So you’re telling me that if I don’t like this mysterious present you got you won’t feel bad if I tell you so?”
“Absolutely not, it would be a learning experience.” Reid headed down the hall to the bedroom to change shirts. Luke followed not ready to give up yet.
“Okay then, wrap up what you bought and put it under the tree,” Luke challenged.
Reid paused with a thoughtful look and tossed his shirt on the bed. “Ummm, your family is coming over Christmas eve to open gifts, right.”
“Yeah, why?”
Reid put his arms into the sleeves of his maroon button down. “I’d better not put it under the tree just yet.”
“Reid, what did you get me?” Luke asked stepping closer to button his shirt.
“I’m not going to tell you,” Reid replied in a sing song voice tracing his fingers over Luke’s chin.
“Give me a hint.”
“You are just going to have to wait until I put it under the tree.” Luke finished buttoning the shirt and Reid gave him a slow smoldering kiss which he broke with a smirk and a slap on the cheek. “Now as much as I am enjoying this banter I have to get back to the hospital. Don’t go snooping through all the closets looking.” Reid headed out into the living room to grab his phone and keys.
“I promise…and Reid?” Luke said following again.
“Yeah?”
“Don’t forget I added a leather jacket to my list. I circled what I want in the ad.”
“Got it.” Reid gave Luke a wink and headed out the door.

The problem with lists is you take the time to write stuff out and then people get whatever they feel like anyway! I'm off to Target tomorrow with returns for this very reason.

I love how Luke followed Reid like a kid, very cute.
I love how Reids maroon shirt keeps popping up in story's.
I am actually rather fond of the tight black jeans. ;)

I'm rather curious myself as to what Reid bought in plain brown paper or if he is lying and hadn't bought anything.
Thanks for reading.
