~Fun Fic Friday~
TGIF! It's the day before the weekend, and what better way to close out a long week than with a fun dose of ficlets and drabbles of Luke, Reid, or Luke & Reid? Strong, long fingers touch black and white keys. Soft tones fill the empty auditorium. Blue scrubs cover the piano stool. A bandana is thrown aside. One hand disappears in reddish curls.
Then more music sounds. Shoulders relax as the fingers move over the grand piano. They find their own way to a soothing melody, one that eases the heart and makes the brain calm down.

Playing the piano. Emptying his mind. And maybe grabbing something to eat before he slumps down in the on-call room later. Just one more song.
"What's that I hear?"
"Oh, that's Dr. Grumpy. He must have had a bad day in the theatre. Always comes down here to play it off when something like that happens. Which is not that often, actually. Unfortunately, because he plays rather well and well... just look at him - isn't he just gorgeous when he's not snarking around and making our lives miserable?"
Both nurses take a peak through the small window besides the door. It is a beautiful sight.

Well, there are three things in my life that always prevented me from going insane, my kids, sport and MUSIC...playing the piano - yes it's absoulutely like that, you're becoming calm and empty in the best way.
So well written!

This one was (my secret message) for you, you know. Reid. Piano.
After a terrible Reidless week, that's what I needed - was guessing you could be in need of it too ;)
