Pride and Prejudice

“Will you try it on?” Luke murmured as Reid’s cock popped out of his mouth.

“Mmm, no,” Reid mumbled, still feeling the aftershocks of his orgasm.

“Why do you have to be such a bastard?” Luke suddenly said angrily, “You know forget it, I’m just going to auction it off at the next charity event.”

“What just because I won’t play with your toy’s Mr. Snyder,” Reid replied startled by Luke’s anger.

“Stop that, you know what I mean and don’t take that Mr. Snyder tone with me, we’re long past that,” he growled climbing out of bed.

Reid couldn’t help but admire the wide shoulders and taunt ass of his boyfriend, partner, love of his life. Yeah he was being a prick and he knew it but even after all these years he still loved to push Luke’s buttons. He glanced at the beautiful Armani suits that were hanging on the wardrobe beside the bed. Reid had argued and didn’t want Luke to buy him a designer suit he had more than enough money to buy his own, and besides the dark black suit that he’d had for the past eight years was fine.

Luke had needed a new suit he’d torn the sleeves at the shoulders the last time they were at a formal event. Luke had grown impressively the past three years being with Reid, and Reid wanting Luke to take care of himself and that kidney better put him on a diet and training regime. Now Luke jogged, did yoga and went swimming throughout the week and both of them were eating healthier, with less processed foods and more home made and fresh ingredient meals. Reid still made his colossal sandwiches just with roasted meats, whole grain breads and low fat mayo and cheese.

Reid reflected on how it felt to run his hands over those wide shoulders as Luke had given him an amazing wake-up blowjob. Luke had been doing outrageous sexual favors for Reid for the past three days trying to get Reid to try on the suit. Even one of Reid’s favorite past times of slamming into Luke on the kitchen island the night before had not made Reid relent.

He sighed and got out of bed, trying the door to the bathroom, “Yeah he’s pissed,” Reid thought, usually Luke wanted a nice hand job in the shower but Reid had pushed too far this time.

Luke had accused him many times of his prejudice against the rich and those who felt entitled.

“I thought after three years you would know me and some of my friends and colleagues better,” Luke admonished one day after Reid made the, “born with a silver spoon,” comment to Luke again.

“Look at Doogie Hughes, he seems to think that everyone owes him something”, Reid tried to argue back.

“You seem to forget that he went to Africa to help in the AIDS camps, that’s where he contracted the virus that compromised his heart,” Luke reminded him.

Reid looked over at the suit and pinched the bridge of his nose, “Pride goeth…” he quoted to himself as he pulled boxers out of the drawer, but he wasn’t sure if he hadn’t already fallen.

A few minutes later Luke came out of the bathroom drying his hair with one towel, another wrapped around his waist, “Listen Reid I get it but why…” he stopped when Reid broke in.

“Luke,” he said quietly and Luke lifted his head up dropping the towel on the floor, gulping as he saw Reid standing in the Armani suit.

Luke looked over at Reid not wanting to fight but also not wanting to back down he found the first day or two doing Reid’s bidding fun, now he was feeling more used and trying to please, something he told himself he was never going to do with Reid.

“It looks good, but then I knew it would,” Luke told Reid quietly.
“Luke?” Reid gulped this time, his heart beating frantically, “No did I really fuck this up over a stupid suit,” he thought and reached out a hand to Luke.

Luke shook his head grabbing the hand and pulling Reid close, he knew this was different he knew Reid loved him and he loved Reid warts and all. He leaned in towards Reid’s, “Sex doesn’t solve everything but it definitely helps,” he thought, and then whispered in his ear, “Pull those pants down and turn around, I always wanted to fuck someone in an Armani,” he growled seductively.

Reid looked up a flash of relief and then amusement in those blue eyes, “Okay,” he replied letting out the breath he didn’t realize he was holding.

Oh, this is great! I do love the idea of Reid in an Armani. And hey, if Luke wants to splurge, Reid should let him! But I know he's got pride too.

Glad everything worked out in the end, of course. :)

I know somewhere out there is a story of Luke and Reid in Armani tuxes, I just can't remember where and who, but Reid wasn't too happy about wearing it and "Richie Rich" buying it for him...hence my little story.

It of course had to end up okay...I almost didn't but then common sense prevailed:))

Luke in a towel and Reid in an Armani suit--what a lovely image! I am sure Reid will be very glad he gave in.

I always wished that the towel scene had the towel lower on Luke's buddy...it was too high and didn't allow us to see his nice abs...Reid in a tux "swoon". It's a good thing Reid did give in as we know "b**ch Luke" can be very unforgiving but he's matured some, they may need some other forms of negotiation...not that I'm saying "make-up sex" is bad or anything:))

This is soooo good! Well my partner has more fancy clothes than me, but I know so many men who're thinking Reid's way :)

Thank you P, my guy likes to dress up too and he usually wears the same suit for years until he's persuaded to buy another, me I'm like you not too many fancy ones in the closest...just "the little black dress" that works for all occasions:))

Yeah, Reid never gave much thought to how he dressed and frankly never did "frat boy Luke" but in my story world I can make them look as hot as I want LOL!!!

HAHAHA!!! hmm, was that Luke or you imagining Reid still dressed in his Armani with just enough off to "you know what"...yep something about half dressed sex and imaging these two "whooo is it getting hot in here, fans self", LOL!!!

Yes, you know Reid very well, he never was able to take anything from Luke, but his love of course. I think Reid will always be uncomfortable taking "from Luke" but he makes Luke work veeerrrryyyy hard to convince him sometimes and I believe he will re-evaluate his negotiated skills since this one went further than he thought and sometimes you need to give a little to take a little:))) The whole privileged and the prejudice that Reid feels is also something he would have a difficulty letting go of due to his circumstances growing up.

Of course a toppy Luke and his boyfriend still dressed in the Armani...I couldn't help myself lol!!!
