What would life be like without a bit of self-irony? Part 1 of 3

Reid Oliver knew that he was in trouble the second time he’d laid his eyes on the annoying man standing too close to him invading his personal space yet again.
The light tugging in his lower parts, the inconvenient feeling in his stomach-area didn’t help either.
This whole thing was just enervating ad infinitum. And as a reasonable person Reid didn’t deal with ‘infinita’.
The crazy thing was that Luke Snyder wasn’t even Reid’s type.
No, au contraire the young blond guy wasn’t his type at all - for a lot of reasons:
He was too young.
He was too blond.
His nose was too small.
His skin too smoothe.
Did he even grow a beard already?
Probably not!
He was still a baby-face.
And he smiled too often like a goof.
Reid Oliver liked tougher men,
undoubtedly grown men with grown exterior and grown behavior - and with well-defined bodies.
The men he had slept with in the past were crispy specimen with dark hair and that bronze light brown tan that always made him weak in his knees. When a bronzy hand covered his own pastel one that refused to darken (what Reid didn’t care a fig about, he was who and just the way he was - but yet opposite types attracted him - at least until now) Reid’s hormone system turned as far as possible.
Luke Snyder wasn’t crispy, he wasn’t a ‘crisper’ he was more a white-chocolat-fondant.*

But then so many things took place surprisingly enough and Reid didn’t even notice how and when they happened - only they happened infuriatingly fast:
Luke’s blondness changed almost every day from light blond to darker blond to almost brown and back again.
Well, he still was a young guy, but he acted like an old fox sometimes.
His nose remained small but suddenly looked ‘cute’ (grrr) and the smoothness of his skin was sprinkled with the sexiest patches of chest hair ever - peeking out of his shirts which upper buttons Reid suspected to be opened only in his presence.
One day Luke even entered Memorial unshaved and when Reid noticed the dark five o’clock shadow he knew Luke wasn’t a boy anymore, he was a grown irritatingly attractive man.
And he wanted him.
And that very day Reid realized that he craved THIS SMILE was meant for him - at least sometimes.
Eventually Reid was aware of his obnoxiousness being an act, a desperate attempt to keep something at bay what had already invaded him.
“Feeeelings” - HE of all people developed feelings for the spoiled brat who had blackmailed him into the center of Midwestern North Pole - it was ridiculous but undeniably true.
The moment he stared after Luke dropping his towel and revealing not only his broad rounded back but also his fine ass - well then Reid tossed all stereotypes and preferences overboard. He was crazy about Luke’s sexy back - its smoothness, its ‘curves’.
He almost couldn’t manage to swallow fast enough - standing there in Luke’s room feeling like a yearning high school kid.
He had to do something about it - kiss that delicious mouth, heal that weird Noah Mayer and then kiss Luke again and he won’t stop until he had his hands clutching this dazing smooth and perfect back - not even the botched scar was able to ruin.

Luke may not have been Reid's type but he sure became the only type for Reid. Hee.
