Date night at the Lakeview:

As he stood there at the bar sipping his drink he felt a presence beside him and turned to look at the older blonde man standing next to him.
"Hi" he said as he took another sip of his drink
"Hi,is this seat taken?"
"As a matter of fact it is."
"Well, I hope your date appreciates you."
"Oh, I'd like to think he does."
"Does he think you're as HOT as I do?"said the older blonde
"I don't know.. let's ask him."
"Huh?" said the blonde
"I said let's ask him..He's standing right behind you"said Luke as he pointed over the older man's shoulder
The older blonde turned to see and equally hot ,older man with red hair standing directly behind him with his arms crossed over his chest with an angry stance
"Luke, who is this?".....the older blonde stumbled over his words. "Where is Noah?"
"There's been some changes in my life since I saw you last...And the first being him" said Luke as he walked around the older blonde and kissed Reid on the cheek.
"Brian, meet my husband Reid....Reid meet my"...Now Luke stumbled over the words..."Grandmother's ex husband"
Brian stuck out his hand to shake Reid's but, Reid continued to stand holding Luke's hand which is where it had been from the moment Luke was close enough for him to touch.
"Well, I never thought I would see the day that you and Noah weren't together."
"Things change, people change..And this is for the better I assure you."said the young blonde looking at Reid never taking his eyes off him.
"Are you sure?...I mean he really is alot older than you."
"Oh, I'm sure..You don't get to choose love. Love chooses you....no matter what the age.And I am so glad that Reid chose me"
"And, just so we're clear here...I do appreciate him, and I do think he is the Hottest man I have ever seen in my life and I can't imagine loving anyone but him...EVER" said the red headed man.never taking his eyes off his husband.
"Well, Reid it was nice meeting you.and Luke it was good to see you...I wish you both the best."said the older blonde
"Thank you Brian...And if you will excuse us we have date night to get started."Reid still holding Luke's hand started pulling him to the door.
"I think I would rather have date night in tonight."said the older man winking at Luke as he pulled him toward the door.
"Exactly what I'm thinking...my equally hot, sexy,husband.who is the love of my life and who I also appreciate very much.."......Said Luke as he headed out the door with Reid's arm slung over his shoulder as he still held his hand never taking his eyes off him and never looking back at the older blonde either.

Brian! Ha ha, it must've been surprising to see Luke with anyone else. Glad Luke tells him like it is, how much much better Reid is than Noah. Cool ficlet!

Brian calling Reid old is like the pot calling the kettle black, especially since Brian is much older than Reid is. & of course Luke would find someone who appreciates him all the time since he figured out he's worth it since meeting Reid.
