(I'm drawing a blank for a title. February 2010)

Luke slammed the door to the staff room and glared at Reid while he hung up his lab coat.

“Mr. Snyder, I realize that you feel rules are beneath you, but the sign says “Staff Only” and you decidedly are not.”

“What is wrong with you?” Luke sneered. “You have no right to dictate who Noah can have in his life.”

“Nor would I want to. What’s your point?”

“Then why would you tell Noah that we can’t be together? He needs me. I need him. I love him.”

“I love him,” Reid mimicked using a high pitched voice. “You are pathetic.”

Luke got into Reid’s face and pushed him up against the locker. “Why, because I actually have feelings? Because unlike you I care about someone besides myself?”

Reid took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Luke’s fiery rage was sparking urges within him he didn’t want. “You’re pathetic because you are moving heaven and earth for a man who doesn’t want your help. I didn’t tell him you couldn’t be with him. I told him to keep you away from me.”

Luke pulled back stunned at Reid’s words. “Then why would he say I had to keep my distance from him?”

“I don’t know Mr. Snyder.” Reid slammed his locker shut. “You two really need to talk.”

Oh, I like! I wish Luke could've found out just what Reid said to Noah that day. Nicely done!

Thank you. I wonder if it was just a writing flub and they never intended for Noah to be deceptive?

lol That sounds like a rewrite of the last couple years!

I have a lot of those little gap filler/fixer that pop into my head, but that would be fun to have a "fix this scene" challenge. Great idea.

If I ever finish what I'm working on you will get A LOT of fix its in one giant story as I have been working on a rewrite of the whole summer. I keep thinking I'm close to being done and it keeps growing. I won't start posting until I have a complete draft so I can edit out inconsistencies.

Thank you. I have a feeling the writers never intended for this to be a Noah deception. They were just too inept to fix their error.

Yes, this is something that Luke should have been made clear to Luke. It was very weak of Noah to use Dr. O. and his blindness as an excuse.

Luke would have confronted Reid. I would have loved to see this happen.
