I take a step forward and lower my voice. His anger has passed and in its place is fear and desire. He begins to shake from nervousness but does not back away. I reach out to touch him, to calm him, but all I see are his lips. They’re red and full and slightly parted. His breath is coming in pants drying what I seek to touch. He flicks his tongue out wetting those lips and swallows. All my restraint is gone. I want to kiss him and taste him. I want to calm his fear and quench his desire and mine.

I lean in slowly looking straight at those lips. They come towards me and we touch. The touch is soft and warm. We breathe and kiss again. I pull back a moment to gauge his response. He wants more. He needs more. He leans toward me and reaches for my head to pull me back to his mouth. I tilt my head and part my lips to taste him and explore his mouth with my tongue. My left hand guides his head toward mine my right caresses his chest, his side, and his back. His fingers gently pull at my hair.

I need more. My hands work their way to the buttons of his shirt. I fumble with them so I break my kiss to focus on the task of exposing his chest. I want to press it against mine and feel his heart pound against me. He grabs my head and looks into my eyes and to my mouth. He takes my lips again and slides his tongue against them prying them open to taste me. My hands continue their job of seeking skin. He tugs at the curls on the back of my neck. I moan slightly and dive more deeply into his chapped swollen lips feeling his desire. I tug and pull at his jacket and his neck trying to get his skin next to mine.

He pulls back suddenly. I sense the fear is taking control. I feel his heat and know I need more. I need all of him. I try to calm him, to make him aware that he wants this as much as me. He pulls me in again for another hot press of the lips, but then pushes me away. His mood has changed. He is full of fear and regret. I sigh with defeat and try my best to calm him but it’s no use. He rushes out and leaves me standing alone. I need more.

This is fabulous! I really think you conveyed Reid's thoughts so well. He really did need more.

Thank you. It was a completely different writing in 1st person and present tense. I wasn't too sure about it. I'm glad you liked it...and we all needed more.

Isn't that the truth, we all wanted so much more. Thank you for the compliment. I wasn't sure how it would go over in first person.

They totally both needed more! Damn Luke's brain for kicking in. :(

This is possibly my favorite part of the kiss scene, so I'm glad your Reid noticed this as well. ;)

Hours of video research :D

We all needed a heck of a lot more. Now to a Star Wars quote. "Trust your feelings, Luke. Let go." Where the hell was Obi Wan during this scene.

Thank you. Hours of video research made it possible. Maybe I can come up with Luke's thoughts on baby rattle day and of course change the ending. :D

Baby rattle day! Yes. :)

And I never tire of fix its for that stupid ending.
