What Google Wants, Google Gets.
In our last episode, I mentioned that I had been contacted by a recruiter at Google. I went through the motions, and eventually they told me they weren't interested. I was left with a poor opinion of them, and I swear this is more in respect to how I was treated than that they turned me down. The feeling was mutual at that point.
Last week, it was announced that Google is going to acquire my company. This story spread pretty wide in the tech news, and was covered in the local papers, and I only reiterate it here for those that might be interested to know that I work there.
Not much that I can say about it publicly, so suffice it to say that I'm wondering what this means for me and that it'll be an interesting year to come.
