Some of you know that in a former life I was Promotional Director at a large independent bookstore. The bookstore, Vroman’s, was in Pasadena, just north of Los Angeles, and we had an incredibly busy events calendar. I get a boost like this about three times a year -- September (still in that back-to-school mode), January, and beginning of summer. And I seem to be able to manufacture that feeling by buying new office supplies!

Well, obviously, I must have this book. In fact, I'm going to look for it just now, since it's possibly here in my Borders, which is almost (but not yet) closed.
