He lies down on the asphalt. You hold his head and stroke his hair in the hope he would feel your touch.
You should have protected him like he protected you. You wish you could say that you are there for him, that you love him.
The last thing you said to him was wanker.
You're rigid with fear, you gasp for air. You're powerless. Tony would have known what to do. He would have known. But all you can do is sit there and cry like a baby, watching him pass away. Watching his breath fade. You just hope this is a bad dream and crave to wake up.
