aww man. I hate Jane Austen. I read Pride and Prejudice over the summer and I hated it. My hatred increased more when I realized we'd be reading it Senior year. Blah.
Really? It reminds me a little bit of Tale of Two Cities, but with less characters that I really, really hate, and more that I like. It's pretty fun to study it really. I think there are some things that might go unnoticed at first reading.
I thought I would hate Jane Austen, cause I hate "chick fiction." But I love her. Love love. Amy Jeffries and I could have a heyday w/ P&P. Its just so GOOD.
AND I LOVE TALE OF TWO CITIES> GO DICKENS, screw all those too impatient to stand his long-windedness on occasion and experience his brilliance! You have to love hating the evil people! And wine on the cobblestones foretelling of the spillage of blood? HOORAY FOR METAPHOR!
I LOVE BRIT LIT. BRIT LIT'S DA SHIT.
And now I'm done. Too bad I can't get IN to the 300 level british lit class I'm TRYING to GET in .... but that's another story.
