Chocolate crawings and allergy, not a good mix

Blergh! I just ate too much chocolate cake, two slices to be precise, and felt queasy for a while, like I was going to empty my stomach. My head felt bad as well. I really didn't think that the second slice would be too much. Well, I won't be likely to forget for a while.

It must be a special type of torture to have a craving for a food item that you're allergic to. I ate some of Mary's chocolate cake last weekend and got the recipe, which I tried today. Tasty chocolate cake. I wouldn't call my reaction to chocolate as an allergy as it's not quite that bad. It just gives me a headache, if I eat too much of it. And on one memorable occasion I got a fever from eating too much chocolate. Chocolate cake fever! How ridiculous is that? I had eaten maybe two or three slices of proper chocolate cake at the time. I get a slight head ache just from the smell of that particular chocolate cake when it's baking in the oven, but that may be just psychosomatic.

But my body just can't decide what it wants because I also occasionally get chocolate cravings. It happened pretty often last Spring. And because of that I made mud pie, chocolate pudding (suklaavanukasta), and also chocolate trifle with subi just to name a few. I've been getting headaches from eating too much chocolate for as long as I can remember so I've learned to live with it pretty well. I know when I need to stop. I may have even conditioned myself to stop wanting to eat any more chocolate after I've eaten a bit of it. I've never managed to eat a big bar of chocolate in one go, like many other people seem to be able to. And I don't like the taste of dark chocolate, which gives me the headaches the fastest. Also, chocolate is kind of like comfort food.

I'm trying to explain how craving chocolate makes me annoyed because I have to be so careful when I'm eating chocolate. I'd much rather have cravings for foods that I can eat without any problems.

Ignoring the crawing works as well. Stupid chocolate. At least I feel better already and the urge to eat chocolate is certainly no longer an issue. In fact, I got the urge to chuck the rest of the chocolate cake in the bin for making me feel so sick, but I won't do that as there are other people at home who will be happy to eat it. But give it some weeks and I'll once again get the odd crawing for chocolate and the cycle begins again. Le sigh.[EDIT]
My favorite puzzle game of the past half year or so works in Windows as well! Happy day. Now I can play Tents in Windows as well. There are other awesome puzzle games in the lot as well. You can find the games here. Use the Windows installer: puzzles-version-installer.exe to install them. I'd recommend Tents, Bridges, Light Up, Map, Pattern and Untangle. I haven't tried them all so there might be other great puzzled in the mix as well.
