monthlyinspo round 10: 2017 to 2018
20 icons + alternates for monthlyinspo. What started as something to take my mind off of finals became an outlet during the holiday season - I had no idea I'd make more than 40 icons for this. This was a fun way to de-stress after a terrible week of finals. I could've kept going, tbh.

2017 ~ A few of the represented fandoms (at least half of them) in here were big for me this year - a few of them are shows I binged this year. Then again, a few icons might even be versions of stuff I made almost a decade ago? I dunno. A few of these do use caps I've used a lot this year.
2018 ~ I tried my hand at some new techniques/colorings (with my own spin on them, I guess) while also trying to improve how I used old ones. There is fake coloring, muted/pastel, muted/vibrant-ish, black and white, animation, etc. Closer cropping in some. Lots of negative space, which was a thing I wasn't great at before this year. (Not that I'm any better now. I tried not to put the subject to a side and they all ended up centered, LOL.)

- Fandoms: Bones, The West Wing, One Day at a Time, The Crown, The Good Place, Friday Night Lights, You're The Worst, Agent Carter, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Big Little Lies, Star Wars, Cardcaptor Sakura, Younger. I'd say this is a good representation of shows I've watched/loved this year, though a few are missing. So that's the 2017 bit in this.
