(no subject)
My OWL results finally arrived, four days after everyone else's. Apparently the owl carrying them was having difficulties finding. Odd, since neither Sirius', James', or Lily's did and they were all right here with me. At any rate, I don't think I want to talk about specifics, but I did fairly well. A lot of them exceeded my expectations, and my Astronomy OWL was far beyond what I had expected (perhaps that is one of the reasons that Sinistra offered me that position?), and my History of Magic OWL depressingly low, but it really is my own fault as I didn't apply myself as much as I should have.
I'm not sure if I am glad or not that the term is about to begin again. It will be a relief to go back to normal - there is something so comforting about repetition - but there is also going to be so much going on that I can't help but wish for a little more time to relax. Oh well, it isn't as if my preferences are going to affect what happens anyway; I might as well resign myself.
I probably ought to write more; it's been a while since I last updated this, but I can't really think of anything to say. I guess some days are just like that - there isn't much that needs to be said.
