Music review time
I was just thinking how much I like this song, or remix rather, it's Chrono Trigger Forever (OC Remix) by Suzumebachi, and it's a take on the song Sekai Saigo no Hi (Death of the World's Light, roughly, also translated as People Who Have Lost the Will to Live) (Track 6 on Disc 2 of the Original Sound Version). But the remix is so cool because it's a trance song that's barely recognizable, but just enough so as to be deeply entertaining. It's about twice as fast as the original song and I really enjoy the piano opening that leads into bongos and then the traditional (if trance can be called as such) trance loop. It's great that someone can take such a really morose, depressing song (and if you're familiar with the scene in the game the song is from, you know what I'm talking about) and make it into a upbeat, danceable tune. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
There's also an 8-minute, live, one-cut piano version of the courtroom music that was really amazing plus several great remixes, and a new 80's style tune done to Robo's theme (which ironically is playing on the disc right now).
