A swing and a Whiff
So I have been observing for years various hints, slights, and jabs taken at the furry fandom and furs in general media and television programming over the years.
One of the most recent programs to venture into this furry lore was the episode "who's a scaredy cat" ( S2-Ep4) of the TV cartoon Housebroken of which had to be about as hard hitting as a whiffleball after being hit with a plastic bat When I consider how edgy some of the episodes of this cartoon series try to be, I found it downright surprising how downplayed and basically normalized a furry convention is shown to be.
However, the show did leave the door open for more furry shenanigans since the owner of one of the cat characters 'Chico' is revealed to be a fursuiter and furry themself. It will be interesting to see if the show or creators ever decide to take another trip down the furry rabbit hole in the future.
