I saw an article about this and it has many people in the USGS worried as those levels cannot go much lower otherwise it starts to have an impact on the hydro-electric dam. I have been to Lake Powel ( Family rented a boat at Halls Crossing Marina on the norther half of the lake ) and boating through the canyons was wonderful but with levels getting this low I can only imagine how much more meanacing those canyons might feel and even if one could still get a houseboat through some of them.
Marina probably looks way different too, probably have quite a bit more of a walk from the bait shop to the docks.
