What Wizard and/or Witch thought of the Entrail-Expelling Curse and what time period was it?

The curse was invented by Urquhart Rackharrow. He did so in the 1600's.

What is the Protean Charm?

The Protean Charm is an NEWT level spell. It causes enchanted objects to mimic the main object that the spell was cast upon. If one changes something about the main object, all those objects connected to it with the spell will change as well.

An example of this charm are the coins the DA use to be alerted about the new meeting times.
