This is absolutely beautiful. The imagery feels visceral throughout, beginning with the one line of dialogue (Remus's explanation to James) and continuing with the description of the transformation and eventually the spot-on revelation that being a wolf means freedom and bondage to Remus. It makes total sense that as much as he hates the beast, Remus must still find it a relief to shed the cloak of reserve he forces himself to wear in his daily life.

Many many thanks for sharing. Have you written any other Remus-related stories?

Thank you for the *wonderful* feedback. I'm so glad it made you happy, and you seem to share my views of Remus with me - and the werewoflism. It's nice to know that got across.

Not yet, at least nothing recently. I have something that's going back and forth with the beta that's longer and has plot (shock), so there's definitely more coming. Remus as a character bit hard.
