I'm amused I found a rant on YouTube that I'm in 100% agreement with. Its kinda scary really I could see myself giving the same rant word for word.

P.S. As a hobbyist blacksmith I'm asking anyone with unwanted coal this year to send it to me for my birthday. ;)

Serriously, what's wrong with Stille Nacht?

Aye hon. Here's my thoughts. See ya soon. 0:9

Take for example the school I grew up in. Every single kid in the 400 some odd elementary school was christian but one Jewish boy that happened to be in my class. We all sang Christmas carols and he got to do his own thing. At the party before winter break he par took in our games and in turn we brought over our pretzels and spun a dreddle with him.

Now because of the occasional whiny transplants the majority of simple polite folk have to bow and scrape to a singular individual that believes that they are more deserving than everyone else when we would have happily played nice as it was.

I'll be the first to admit I hate seeing "He's the Reason for the Season!" e-mails and posters as it seams presumptuous and inflammatory to me. But I cannot find fault in the greeting "Merry Christmas." It is the recognition of an idea, a sentiment that has stilled the guns of even the most bitter foes on a cold winter day. Respond to it in your one way. Be it "Joyeax Noel," "Froehliche Weinachten," "Chanuka Sameach," "io, Saturnalia," "Yule Ves Heill!"

Regardless how you give your reply, recognize the greeting is given in good faith and fellowship.
