ok... due to the demands of a certain special kitty, I am updating on my life right now... CRAZINESS that it is! I dont have internet at the house yet and I have been taking care of some businesss dealings at my lunch breaks. we have a lot going on....
Mike got a job at a place called Doyle's Valves. he will be doing systems administrating (what he's qualified to do but nobody's ever given him the proper chance) he will be making at least 30k a year and we can live off of 1100 a month... so you do the math. thats right beetches ka-CHING! anyhow... the new apartment is great... we've gotten all of our stuff from his parents' home and from my parents. the only stuff we have left is in the storage unit. his parents keep bugging him about some of their old accounts and such but nothing major... yet.
jasmine is enjoying having her own bathroom and bedroom and so are we... its funny though... in that enclosed space we were in before i felt cramped and now im just a bit agoraphobic. The place isnt huge but its bigger than we've been used to in the past couple of years. Im really glad we lucked in on this place. its very centrally located. the new school i can see from the kitchen window, and from the front door of my work i can see the school as well.
jasmine is having a time getting adjusted back to the mommy and daddy rules. bedtimes are consistent -(at least more so than they were) school is not optional and if ya break a thumbnail it doesnt excuse you from a day of school, dinner is not eaten whenever you feel like it, and tv is not a babysitter. you have to answer for whatever you did wrong at school. you will tell me the truth about EVERYthing and you will learn that i am not the enemy. I have a lot of work to do because she was told not to tell us things. she was also told that it was ok to lie to mom and dad. UGH! (same thing i think)
the first purchase i plan to make with our new fundage will be a new vaccuum cleaner (cause i dont have one) and then I will work on paying all of our debt off. then I shall get a dining room table and matching chairs and a few various and sundry thingies that we need. some shelving for the bedrooms, a few new tvs... (dont worry, this will be spaced out over time as well as saved up for along with putting an emergency fund into order) jas needs glasses and so do i... the list goes on...
i do have a budget and i plan to stick to it. I shall not be in debt again!!!
