Against all the odds, last August my very best friend, Mrs. Kathryn King, gave birth to her first son. Doctors told her she would never conceive, but she did. Her pregnancy was extremely difficult; filled with constant trips to the Emergency Room. Now that she and her husband, Kyle, have Damian, they want desperately to keep Kate as a stay-at-home mom. Unfortunately one income isn't enough to support three people in Boston. She was in daycares and after-school programs all of her young life.
