I haven't been in a big reading mood lately, for months really, but when I saw this title and the priest scenario I jumped on it.
This is a very cool start! I hope to follow it as you post, because you have sertainly got me amped up to see what happens next.

This seems very interesting. And thank god somebody noticed that, for a while there, Spike seemed way too thin. Tough it suited his personage, what with eating only pig's blood and losing said blood two hours later in a fight.

Oh, and priest!Xander. I'm catholic (99% of Spain is catholic) and I've met a lot of priests, and, I agree with you, some of them have this aura of peace. Teology (indispensable to become a priest) is an universitary degree of five-years (supposing you ace every assignature), so I'm curious, how did Xander manage to become a priest in two years? And besides, I had this idea that they had to do some studies apart for another year or so to become exorcists. Could you care to explain? Thank you!!!

Well, I don't want to give too much away, because it's a big part of the plot, but basicaly Xander isn't a "typical" priest. He can't do most of the stuff priests do, like the eucharist, sermons, confession, etc. He's specialized only in the Church's fight against demons, because while the Watcher's Council has been using the slayer to fight evil, the Church has been fighting it to. That's the loose basics of it, I can't say move becuase, well, I don't want to risk ruining the story.

lol, on the contrary, Xander is very happy. It's Spike who has a few hang ups, but I have an idea to recitify that later, not with Xander but with someone else. Not sure if I'm gonna go through with it, it depends on how my muse reacts.
