Meme time!
The one Azzie did and also because I've been tagged two times on FB. So, 10 books that stayed with me and influenced me. Also, because Shei told 'surprise me', I'm going to leave out everything I've read since high school and try to pick out just 10 books.
Discworld by Terry Pratchett (Did I say 10? I was lying and grossly lying. The Discworld is a comic fantasy series and just counting the novels only, there are 40 of them right now. I definitely was extremely influenced by that and most of my humour actually comes from that series. It's a wonderful and very complex and funny universe and I can only advise you to read it. And for the French people, you can absolutely read it in French because the translator is so so good (like making notes of why he translates things in a certain way and explains what the original jokes are)

The Saga of Darren Shan by Darren Shan (the first four tomes anyway, the rest never was released in France and I've yet to read it)
Geez, the choice was pretty hard, harder than what I thought it be: limiting myself to what I've read until high school should've facilitated things but it didn't. At all. And I cheated because half of that list is series XD And that's without surprise that most of that list is sci-fi, fantasy or fantastique.
