Dream of Cyberiad
So, I finally changed my layout! I've been wanting to do so since the end of last month... or rather, I wanted to have a banner with Mr Clever on it but my previous layout would've been horrible with a header. So, just like every quotes in my previous layout came from the Rings of Akhaten, every quotes here are from Mr Clever in Nightmare in Silver. And speaking about my previous layer, at the time, I said I'd do a fanart of the episode, which I did but never posted here. Well, it's here: I don't think you'd be able to tell but the whole left part + Eleven were done with a mechanical pencil so it took me forever (to get the darker shades). Then I decided I didn't want to spend 8h+ on it and switched to charcoal and it took me 20 minutes to finish XD
Also, I'd a lovely time at Japex. I went there for 3pm: the only thing that interesting me was the Square Enix stand, which sucked my money like it did last year but well, when there's a 10 to 20 euros difference compared to the online shop, I'm not saying no, at all. Even more when it's FFXIV ARR ost signed and still cheaper than on the online shop. Anyway, it's okay, I was prepared. What I wasn't prepared for was the gorgeous Saga with his Gemini surplice I ended up buying... But it's not like it's a surprise or something I regret XD Then I met with Kae and one of her friends, a lovely girl I had already seen once before, with Fea and my ex-roommate and it'd been really funny.
Then, we went to the Anigetter stand to see Dalek Caan. I spoke with the artist and he told me it was motorized and opened it for me and it's solo cool! It's not finished: the painting and hands aren't complete yet but, geez, gorgeous. And he let me take a photo with it! *grins*
