Finally, it's break. It's hard to believe it's almost Christmas, given that I still had school yesterday and all.
I got my phone! But, I don't really know how to use it yet. It's all in Japanese, you see. Which makes things more difficult. But it is super, super cute. And that is all that matters. But, I didn't get a chance to bring it to school and get everybody's mail/number, but I have about 10 or so, so anyone I really need I should be able to find. In theory. Once I figure out how to use it.
Oh, and last week it hailed. A lot. It was weird. It was sort of like snow hail, but it wasn't snow, even though everyone, including the weathergirl, said it was snow. They are so lax about the weather here. I mean, they don't ever show the radar of the weather, they show a really retarded map of Japan, lop it into squares and color the squares sunny, cloudy, rainy or snowy. Very retarded. My mom would not be impressed.
I did the whole music festival thing and our grade sounded the best. I was near the back, but on the front of the riser and in the middle, so everyone and their brother could see me and told me so afterwards. The cutest performance was the elementary school kids who sang 'Oh Happy Day' with the same arrangement used in Sister Act two. They were really rocking the house too. So cute. Royce and I felt really guilty for laughing at this one bunri girl, though. During their first two songs I had commented on how she was really carrying her section, and she was, but the last song...she just couldn't sing. And it sounded pretty terrible. Royce said it wasn't nearly as bad as this one time when he had to listen to these retarded kids sing Christmas songs, though, because then it was totally not ok to laugh, yet so hard not to. Royce has brusies on his hand from where he pinched himself from trying to to laugh at the festival.
I hope you guys all have a wonderful American Christmas. I love you guys.
