yay for baseball and boy scouts
so, camoe outing, lots of fun.
So on the way we listen to Tims awsome rock mix and that was the only really good part of the trip.
baisically we got there, brought the canoes down to the extremely cold pudget sound water and then started paddling. That was not so good. I was in the back the entire time steering...only one problem...i really suck at steering. So baisically we zigzagged back and forth in the water. The funny thing was, we were way ahead of everybody (axcept Tim and Tim) for the entire way. Mainly it was Alex who had all of the power. I was probably responsibly for 35% of our speed.
so anyway, we got to the campsite and we eat dinner and all that boring stuff. We did play frisbee football for about 2 hours.
the only other really interesting thing that happened was the next morning. Me and Peter Meerdink stayed up till 2 o'clock talking and just as we went to sleep it started to rain. The next morning it was still raining. when i opened my tent flap i look down and there is a 5 INCH PUDDLE OF WATER SURROUNDING OUR TENT AHHHHHH! Luckilly i didn't get that wet, my tent however was a disaster.
Then we paddled home and eat lots of food (yay for chips ahoy), and were thoroughly disgusting when we all got home.

(sorry, i really don't have directions to these fields, just the addresses)
PacWest field:
This is easy to find. head east on 152nd (so if you leave the PAC parking lot onto 152nd you would turn right) and just keep going. you will hit a four way red blinking stop light, at which you keep going straight. the road will then turn into a diagonal road and you turn left onto that. You follow this road until you get to an intersection with sunnydale tavern on your right and this italian restourant on your left. Turn right at this intersection (it is called SO. 144th st.). Follow this road for a short way and then turn right into 6th avenue south. At the end of this road there is a parking lot on the left and four baseball fields on the right. I play on the first field on your right (the biggest one).
They do serve concessions so you can buy BBQ stuff there.
My teams uniform is grey pants (or black pants? i havn't put the uniform on yet) red and black socks, black long sleeve shirt and red vest with a black and red hat.
