Oh, this was simply wonderful! Loved Erik being all protective and worried over Charles. And then their fight, OMG! *wibbles* But everything was made all better with the smokin' hawt sexy tiems. GUH.

Protective!Erik is possibly my favorite Erik. But they did need to have the fight. They were both kind of wrong, and kind of right, and that all needed to get out in the open!

But everything was made all better with the smokin' hawt sexy tiems. GUH.

I LIKE this reaction. :D :D Erik and Charles approve, too.

Next up: as per request of garrideb, what happens when Charles and Erik end up doing recruitment things in different places, and are separated for long enough that Charles starts needing the relief...

Aww, boys, things are better when you listen to each other, in all aspects. :D (Sorry for short comment, must go to bed now cos work in the morning.)

Things often are, in general! And then the delicious sex can happen...

Have fun at work! Help fellow students! :-)

I can't help but laugh at the "and then the delicious sex can happen..." cos I'm currently attempting to work out a "hey, listen to me, cos you're being an idiot and don't give me that look." conversation that than leads to delicious sex (assuming I actually get that far. I might be conversation leading up to sex and then either fade to black or I stare at it for months until I write the sex.)

Sometimes the pointing out of idiocy is definitely needed--though hopefully done in a productive manner! And I fully support the delicious sex. I think it does help to think of it as...what would the characters naturally want to do with/to/for each other? And it doesn't have to be explicit. It took me a while to get there, too. :-)

Okay, didn't leave a comment last night, because while I did read this (obviously, wasn't going to go to bed without reading the second part!), by the time I finished, I was tired enough that you probably would have just got some garbled rubbish! So I'm commenting now, after sleep! :)

I think the transition into the actual talking in this part works, as they've had the push towards it at the end of the forst part. Although, actually, I quite like that, despite Charles basically collapsing, they're still both tentative, and aware that it could still all go wrong, and it's not all 'oh no, I am totally wrong, must backpedal now that Charles is vulnerable' from Erik.

Also, the spanking is very nice! ;) (It's one of those kinks that it took me a while to come around to, actually, and in general I'm still a bit wary about the over the knee positioning - that one can come close to humiliation, and also has a flavour of a parent/child relationship, which is not sexy! But here...oh yes... *g*)

Well, you did have an exhausting weekend! Plus work! Sleep is a good thing. :-)

Oh, good...I was worried about that, and also about the transition from talking to sex, there...but they did need to talk. And they're definitely both right to some extent, and wrong to some extent, which they both need to acknowledge. (Erik is totally right about Charles overdoing things, but equally totally wrong about his initial approach. Charles is being stubborn and reckless and completely correct when he admits that he was really only wanting to listen when Erik's saying things he wants to hear--but he's also right that they need to have those open discussions and trust each other.) And then the sex is...not, like, 'yay, healing sex!', but healing in the sense that they can still want these dynamics, and make this work, because they're both committed to making this work.

(It's one of those kinks that it took me a while to come around to, actually, and in general I'm still a bit ( ... )

Oh, gosh, you rewatched XMFC! Hope you were prepared for ALL THE FEELINGS! Tissues on hand!

Glad you like this one, though. It's eventually a...rather kinky...fix-it for the Great Beach Divorce. Because of course they're not leaving each other now...

Good news: I've started my 50 first dates and Pride and Prejudice Mcfassy film fics (finally!)

*is excited* Also, you're making me feel bad, as I've not yet begun mine...but I'm entirely looking forward to yours. You're so good with the emotions and the comforting. (Also: come play in the Valentines McFassy Fun with us! See today's post for details. *entices*)

Oh, yes, to all the quotes! I just did a rewatch with a friend who hadn't seen it, and it was so very hard to restrain ALL THE EMOTIONS...

Oh, I've not read that one! *bookmarks for later* From the first couple of paragraphs, sounds intriguing...

You should join us, at least for Part One of the Valentines! We're hoping lots of people will. And we've got a while before the end of the Film Fest, anyway. (Says the person who's not started hers...) Mmm, P&P. Love that story. And there is a sad lack of more Regency McFassy in this fandom lately. :-)

Oh, this was fabulous! I want to leave a more extensive comment, but I can't really focus on the screen right now. Bed time for me. Probably still a bit of the massive jet-lag hanging around.
This was wonderful, though. Hnnnnggggggggggg

Ooh, jet-lag! Hope that doesn't last too long, but--have you landed someplace interestingly exotic, then? :D :D

Glad you liked, love! And thanks for taking time to read despite the travel travail! *appreciates*
