miscellaneous things of the moment
Super-quick post because I am (with Awesome Husband) visiting the in-laws this weekend, but awesome things are awesome and cannot wait! girlinventor has made podfic of two of my stories! And she has a lovely voice and can even manage all-dialogue scenes in such a way that it's totally clear who's who. Amazing. *is honored*

Also, Awesome Husband and I went to a pumpkin patch yesterday with grad school friends! The old-fashioned wonderful kind, where you go out in the field and properly pick your own. So now I've got two pumpkins. That I picked. Myself. Wonder if I can make the bigger one look like Magneto's helmet...
Also, I'm pretty sure the last appointment in the Writing Center last week tried to flirt with me. Very awkwardly, but still. Body language, questions about my research (not his own paper, his supposed reason for coming in), asking for my email "in case he needed to get in touch with me"...it was a tiny bit flattering, 'cause he was kind of cute, but no. I'm very much happily married. And also you're a first-year grad student, and I'm a lecturer and your writing tutor, and no.
Still slowly working on getting All The Fic posted over on AO3. (Same name as here, if you're so inclined.) It's...mostly oldest stuff first, unless I decide I feel like something happier (or less so) should go next, or something from another fandom, for variety. Or if a story needs some editing. Some of them do. So they might not all be exactly the same as they are here...though they'll still be pretty close. :-)
