I hope you all had a beautiful New Year's, and that the year is beginning happily, and will continue to be full of both happiness and new beginnings.

Here, have some new holiday Erik/Charles fic. It's probably not the holiday you'd expect...

How much do I love that Charles and Erik start talking about snake wrangling as a mutation? SO MUCH.

I also adore the bit about Charles' luxurious voice moaning Erik's name. That's a wonderful bit. Mmmm.

I love that both of their thoughts immediately go that direction. Oh, boys. Never change.

And I think there's about to be a continuation of those other interesting bits, after they make it upstairs. With the scarf. :-p

I wonder what other historical/mythical persons and holidays/not-quite-holidays can be attributed to mutations? ...Cupid? Maybe a love pheromone thing. Santa? Maybe some sort of quantum physics phasing or cloning. Easter Bunny? That one's easy: mutation that allows cross-breeding with chickens to produce eggs.

Also, oooh, more naughty bits with delectable voices and nakedness accentuated by scarves.

I think the Easter-Bunny one sounds like something out of Island of Dr Moreau (there's got to be some human DNA spliced in there, too, for the decision-making process of leaving eggs out for people to find...) What other holidays ARE there? Does Presidents' Day count? Because George Washington, come on, total mutation there: no teeth and the ability to withstand freezing temperatures and a severe lack of provisions ( ... )

Also that whole "I cannot tell a lie" thing of George Washington's...totally a mutation.

Not to worry about the naughty bits and scarf bondage happening off-screen; I've got plenty of imagination to be able to supply that on my own. LOL They may have to dryclean that scarf later.

As for *forcing* you to pause the other thing while you wrote stuff because of my evil enabling? No regrets. None whatsoever.

No regrets here either, actually. I kind of like the way that one, er. Came out ( ... )

Apparently my brain thinks so, too. Cue all the worried Michael--"no, really, it was just a fantasy, you don't have to!"--and James actually seriously thinking, "Okay, I could do this, let's try..." And then AWESOME PORN ensues. And then contemplative cuddling.

And on that note, off to dinner with the Husband. :-)
