We finally have internet back at our apartment, fucktards Comcast killed our internet/cable line a few weeks back and it took them forever to fix it back up. Me and Cindy came back from Iceland a week ago. I'll start posting pictures soon. Man, what a beautiful country and what a great experience. After being amongst people with such a different mindset, we were very reluctant to come back. Americans need to learn how to fucking relax and not work themselves to death or stress over meaningless bullshit. I'm more so referring to the whole ridiculous American corporate environment. Corporations expect you to sacrifice everything for your work, meanwhile in Europe companies work with their employees and work around their schedule so that people there can enjoy their time with their families. Yes, family and kids are more of value there than jobs. Another fact that pissed me off was that their income gets taxed 35%, but this covers health insurance (universal), retirement pensions, etc. Meanwhile I get 25% of my income taxed for who knows what. I still have to pay for my own insurance, and social security is a big joke - everyone knows that it's not going to be around by the time we retire. Obviously this country has a hige problem with its healthcare system. Nothing against capitalism, but corporations shouldn't be in charge of who deserves to be treated and who doesn't, nor should they make a profit from treating sick people.
