A requiem plays somewhere in the distance, as tonight marks the first night of a long farewell to that abominable apartment with all the crazy and deranged people. I'm finally going to spent my first night in our new house. We're both pretty excited, frustrated, exhausted, and crazy, but mostly, just glad that the move is finally over with. Now comes the organization part. Fun. I can't wait till Mardi Gras cuz I'm gonna deck this place out! Not to mention that, if we really wanted to, we could walk to the parades on Fat Tuesday as we aren't that far. The neighborhood is really nice and it's awesome only being a hop, skip, and a jump away from the beach.
As far as work goes, things have been on the up so far. Everyone at my new branch has been really nice and for my b-day they surprised me with a cake. They've been really helpful and really nice, and I'm actually liking it there quite nicely. Our branch also just made it's goal today of 100% performance for the quarter so that was really exciting! Extra money is nice!
Tomorrow I go back to my old branch because I was still on their Saturday rotations. It'll be kinda weird, since I still feel like I was shoved off... eh oh well. Their loss.
Aside from that, I hope everyone is doing well and that everyone has a great, exciting, and safe New Years.
And Evangelion kicks ass.
