[ LOCKED FROM HARUHI SUZUMIYA ]

I wonder what it is that draws two people together. Maybe it's common interests. Of course, similar goals and values would be needed as well.

I just don't understand.

Maybe it's because I'm naïve and not all that  experienced in love, but how do you know when you've fallen in love with someone? When people like each ( Read more... )

I... don't get it either. It's even more confusing since with me... I was sort of thrust into the whole thing over some strange tradition I wasn't aware of... Long story short, I still don't understand what I should be feeling or if it's even love.

Denial isn't the best option, but it makes you feel better for a while so you can sort your mind out. Unfortunately I still have yet to do so...

I think I just need to get out of the "stuck back home" mentality.

What did you do to get yourself into that kind of situation? I hope it wasn't something silly that you ended up regretting.

"Stuck back home" mentality?

It's... a very long story. Getting flushed down a toilet, finding out I'm king of a foreign country, getting angry at someone for insulting my mother, slapping him--needless to say, I somehow found myself engaged. I can't say I regret it... I just still don't know I feel about him.

A lot of bad things happened when I made Haruhi angry back home.

I've heard of those stories before. Things like slapping someone's cheek or picking up silverware.... They're pretty old fantasy stories I used to read as a kid.

And did you say him

I guess her chip is good for something, then?

Shin Makoku really is like a living fantasy... I honestly thought I'd ended up in some theme park in the Alps--

...A theme park in the alps? Where are you from?

Well it wasn't really a theme park--nor was it the Alps. It's actually the country of Shin Makoku.

I've never heard of that country before. Based on the name I guess it has something to do with the country of original demons and the like. It all depends on the kanji, though.

So, you got flushed down a toilet... ended up in another country that you became king of... and became engaged to a man on accident.

...I really don't know what to say.

You're not the only one. But that's its nickname, actually. I still can't remember the full name.

...Yeah, that's basically what happened. Being king isn't so bad, though. I actually managed to start the Mazoku and humans on the road to peace. Of course, there were magical boxes and thousand-year-dead kings involved but--

Oh, sorry, I'm talking an awful lot about myself, aren't I...

I don't mind. When I was a little kid, I was really into those kind of fantasy things. I mean, it died away when I entered high school, but now that I'm here and I know this kind of stuff is real... I really don't mind listening to it.

Besides, listening to your problems is a lot more amusing than talking about my own.

[locked] gasp! my references are not completely obscure then! toiletbowl_maou May 28 2009, 03:32:16 UTC
Haha, well I'm sure I have tons more stories where that came from. Shin Makoku is a pretty strange place, but I love it. My home away from home.

Well, hey, if you ever really want to get your mind off things, you can join the baseball team I'm organizing. We could always use more players, if you're interested.

[locked] Of course not! |D I did fansub it, after all. I ought to know SOMETHING~! lunchpenalty May 28 2009, 03:37:32 UTC
A home away from home sounds really nice. Kind of secure, you know?

A baseball team, huh? I really don't have great memories about baseball. I would probably be more of a spectator if anything, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a baseball team here in Discedo.

[locked] orly? that's awesome! I hope my Yuuri is okay |D;; toiletbowl_maou May 28 2009, 03:53:14 UTC
Yeah, it is nice. Unfortunately now I can't get back to either home... If I didn't have this chip, it wouldn't be so hard, since there's a nice, big lake around here.

Spectators are welcome too! Can't have a team without a crowd! And it always helps to have people cheering you on.

[locked] Ya rly. |D I am the lazy admin of Shoku-dan. And you're Yuuri is fine! |D He is amusing. <3 lunchpenalty May 28 2009, 03:56:25 UTC
When people are watching and cheering you on, you're more likely to perform better as well. At least, that's what psychology states.

If I may ask, why would you need a lake to get back home? I mean, that lake probably isn't the safest water in the world.

[locked] ahaha, I always run into people from Shoku-dan. oh, yay! I get worried sometimes orz toiletbowl_maou May 28 2009, 04:14:02 UTC
It makes sense! But I'll let you know when the first game is. Still have a lot to organize first. The park is a wreck.

So I've been told but, uh... I've only ever been able to travel to Shin Makoku through water. Hence how I managed to literally get flushed down a toilet.
