Since Halloween fell on a Monday this year, I had a support group meeting during much of the prime trick-or-treating time. I had bought a small bag of candy on the way home, but I decided to just leave my porch light off until I go to bed.

I really need to see a doctor about possible sleep apnea. I was driving to the Howl-O-Ween party in Denver last night when I started feeling sleepy. I thought my feeling sleepy during the late afternoon/early evening was due to my differing weekday and weekend schedules, but I still feel tired even on days when I get 7-8 hours of sleep. The Toastmasters meeting only had seven attendees this week. I got several compliments about the pumpkin cheesecake pie I brought for the potluck.

I'm heading to a couple of parties after dinner. Howl-O-Ween is being held at the Mile High Comics store near I-25 and I-70. The Robins Nest will host a meet after Howl-O-Ween at 11 PM.

For this year and next year, I'll be away from home during Halloween. The holiday is on a Saturday this year. I'll be getting home from KRCC around 8:20-8:30, long after most of the trick-or-treaters have gone home. Since next year is a leap year, Halloween will be on a Monday. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Don't like it? Tough titty!

I didn't do quite as much at this year's Howl'O'Ween party. I did meet a few new people and socialized more, but I didn't do any dancing.

I erased my name from the Friday morning phone list at KRCC. I've been answering phones from 6-9 AM every weekday this week, along with 3-7 PM today. I need to get a few more hours of sleep on Friday morning since I'd like to actually be awake for the Howl'O'Ween party that night.
