Weird and wacky workday
This week's episode of Wait Wait...Don't Tell Mementioned a toilet-themed restaurant in Taiwan. The "Modern Toilet" has toilet-shaped seats and serving bowls, poop/vomit-themed food, urinal-shaped drink cups and tables made from bathtubs. This reminded me of the Mr. Show with Bob and Davidepisode "Rudy Will Await Your Foundation," which had a sketch about a fancy restaurant with toilets built into the chairs. (The episode title is one of the lines from that sketch.)
"I had a Rule 34 dream about them one night. It wasn't pretty."
The ENCO system which plays KRCC's shows had an incorrect show segment loaded. The first half of This American Lifewas the correct episode, but the second half was from last week. Refreshing the playlist didn't correct the error. I finally brought up the episode audio on WBEZ's website and played the second half from there.
At least two people mistakenly thought KRCC's open house was today. It's actually next Saturday.
