I did really lousy at keeping my New Year's resolutions this year. I only partially accomplished two of them. The resolutions were:
1. Get a weekday job that actually lasts a long time
---FAIL. I've been rejected for every authentic job where I applied.
2. Get to know local/Colorado furries better (Call, chat and do more things with them)
---PARTIAL SUCCESS. I have met more area furries, chatted with a few and went to more fur meets. I don't know if that counts as "getting to know them better," though, since I never see or hear from them outside of the meets.
3. Lose 30 pounds
---MAJOR FAIL. I'm actually heavier now than I was in January. I managed to lose about 5 pounds, then constant stress over unemployment and finances caused me to ignore my diet. My weight went up to 275, but it's coming back down again.
4. Buy more furniture (dining room set, coffee table, end tables and maybe a loveseat)
---PARTIAL SUCCESS. I got two end tables for last Christmas and my birthday.
5. Buy a new or used partial fursuit.
---FAIL. No money left (after bills are paid) means no suit.
I likely won't make any resolutions for 2013 when the time comes, or I'll just hope to continue the few things that are successful (having a place to live, not being terminally ill, etc.) As I said before, the only time my dreams come true is when I'm asleep.
