Renewed but hungry
I renewed my driver's license today. I was given a slip confirming the renewal in case my new license doesn't arrive by the 15th (when the old one expires.) My waiting time was about 90-100 minutes.
My Vocational Rehab counselor returned my call after being out of the office for two days. She didn't have any new available jobs for me, but she gave me the number to someone at Goodwill since they sometimes hire people who can't find work elsewhere. She also gave me the name and number for an employment agency on South Academy Boulevard. I had previously applied at their North Academy location.
This week has been great for my diet, but horrible for my mood. I'll be a bit low on food until Friday night. I had bought a pack of soup mixes a few weeks ago; I'm mainly relying on those and my cocoa and coffee to keep me full between meals.
