Topic idea that didn't cost a fortune

I was assigned the Table Topics Master role for this Friday's Toastmasters meeting. I searched online for topic ideas and came across one group's suggestion to use the fortunes in fortune cookies for topics. I was unable to find fortune cookies at the Safeway locations where I normally shop (I looked in both the cookie and Asian food sections.) A trip to Cost Plus World Market also produced no results. Today, I went to the Asian Pacific Market on the east side of town, in what used to be the Ampex building. In addition to the cookies, I picked up some spicy noodles and green tea.

The DVDs I ordered of 2 The Ranting Gryphon arrived this week. I'll be watching some of them tonight.
