Readjusting to winter driving
I forget if my electric ice scraper is still in my car or if I've got it in storage. I really could have used its heating/defrosting power this morning.
The roads were still slick this morning. I kept control of my car for most of the journey to work. I skidded into the curb during one left turn, but it didn't cause any damage. I'm doing a double shift today. I hope what little sunshine we have today melts at least some of the ice by the afternoon. I may ask my dad for a pair of good boots for Christmas.
